Would you like some Cheese with that?

I am totally disappointed with the American left. First of all - they are completely obsessed with Vietnam, probably because it was the last time they won a war-based political victory. I really fail to see how a comparison can be made between Vietnam and Iraq. It is like comparing a trycicle to a jumbo jet... the analogy breaks down really quick.

Secondly - they really don't know their history all that well. For instance - you can't have a "meat grinder" (to quote the Daily Kos) when only 2000 troops have died. You can't be "bogged down" when the war is barely a year old. You can't be loosing a war when the other side isn't winning.

I am becoming more and more convinced that leftist ideology hates America. They don't like our country (at least in its current form). Rather - they want to turn America into another France - another Europe. They desperatly want God out... to the point of outlawing religion. They hate the right, they hate success, they hate God, they hate white people, they hate straight people, they hate themselves. They pull down those who get ahead, they are lost.

And I am not surprised. Those sentiments are Biblical. You shall put no other god's before me (God) - and socialism is a god. There is no utopia, there is no perfection, there is nothing that is good outside of Jesus. All good things are a gift from God, and an idology that rejects God is rejecting those good things.
